“Coventry”. The Co-op’s 6.4 megawatt landfill gas generation station. Produces 60% of total supply (2007).

“small power producers”; (VEPPI). All in-state hydro or wood fired generation.

“Hydro-Quebec”. Canadian hydro-power. About 20% of total supply (2007)

“Wrightsville”. Co-op owned hydro in East Montpelier.

“NYPA”. Hydro power from New York.

“McNeil”. Wood-fired generation from Burlington.

“other”. Purchased from the “grid” as needed (<8% in 2007).

The Co-op sells Renewable Energy Certificates (“RECs”) associated with its Coventry generation to a Massachusetts utility; this particular portion of the Co-op’s power supply cannot be described as “renewable energy” within our supply mix.
